Our horse barn gets a new look

Another long over due update being done. Our oldest barn on the property is getting a facelift and overhaul all at the same time. New siding, new roof, new flooring for center isle, some added and updated electrical work going on and then last but not least a sprinkling system for the horses on those hot days when they are in the stalls out of the burning sun. We have issues with keeping the horses out in the blistering sun. As much sunscreen and fly spray that we use and administer some of those poor babies still blister. When that happens it puts more work on us trying to heal them and manage their pain and discomfort taking us away from other duties around the farm. We are so excited to be doing this all at once. I know they will enjoy the barn so much more once it's finished. We have our doors off being rebuilt and the back of the barn already has its new panels installed. We are looking good and will keep you updated as we progress.
