Bricks for the Barn

Finally we have the Isle we have been waiting for

After years of saving and praying and wishing and hoping we have finally managed to pave our barn isle. No more mud isle during a storm, no more bringing in sand and gravel every year to replace the uneven ground. Years ago we went from ground floors in our stalls to wood flooring then we were able to cover the wood with wall to wall stall mats. This was a blessing but we fought every year trying to keep out dirt isle level and clean. Unfortunately after a long winter of raking and cleaning it took its toll out and left us with uneven footing in front of all the stalls. The question was can we afford concrete flooring and with the high cost we could not. The funds went to feed and care for the horses rather than upgrading. Here we are 26 years later and we have a beautiful brick floor that will last year after year. No fancy monograms, no decoration but solid brick that brings back the old school look. We are loving it. Can't wait to get the horses back in the barn and see what they think about it.
